Make Music Lakewood

Make Music Lakewood is a live, free musical celebration on June 21, the longest day of the year, with concerts on streets, sidewalks, and parks across the city.

About

Make Music Day is a celebration of music that is made by anyone and enjoyed by everyone each year on June 21st. Started in France in 1982, it is now celebrated in over 1,000 cities all around the world. You can hear music in storefronts, parks, and restaurants, on boats, rooftops, and patios, by professional artists, students, and armchair musicians. Lakewood is excited to participate beginning in 2024 and we can’t wait for you to join us!

Participate

We need you! Sign up to participate as a musician or a venue in our inaugural Make Music Day Lakewood 2024 here: lakewood.makemusicday.org

Not sure if this is for you? It is! Make Music Day is for all musicians at all levels who just want to share their music with their community. Venues can be literally anywhere: ice cream parlors and coffee shops, retail stores and restaurants, schools and parks, rooftops and backyards.
