XÉNOS
Xénos is an experimental Cretan folk group that merges the traditional songs and modern sounds of the Greek island of Crete. Featuring psychedelic rock interpretations of Cretan folk music, they honor the rich Cretan musical heritage while adding in their own artistic sensibilities. Pulling influences from contemporary Cretan ensembles (Xylouris/White, Babel Trio, Balothizer), Xénos offers renditions of this music from a Greek-American perspective.
